Final Chair Development Here I began planning my final chair through modifying and adding new elements from my previous mock up design. In total my design will consist of a total of 43 seperate peices and 231 cut notches. With this intricate detail and grid like structure I aim to have a base which provides a solid support for the top piece and that overall, the chair will hold my weight and be durable for a long period of time. Construction Process By this point I had saved and collected as many bike boxes as I could find because I knew that this project would need large enough and sturdy sheets. I found this to be quite difficult as it was important that the cardboards corrugation would allign with the direction needed for the pieces.
